Terms and Conditions

 

COVID

 

We do not take it for granted that there is still a pandemic going on and may not go away any time soon. With that said, all member of WemaLove is vaccinated. We do follow all local and state guidelines for sanitizing and cleaning. We wear masks and disposable gloves while working to make this special day for you, from handling all equipment’s, meeting with our customers, and the last part of cleaning up. All items are then packed in plastic bags or containers to be cleaned and sanitized before the next event. We kindly ask that you wear a mask upon arrival to meet with us and handing over after you are done. We provide hand sanitizers, Clorox wipes, paper towels, and trash bags for all our setups. We also ask and appreciate you communicate 72 Hours if you fall ill before your event to be mindful of others and to help with the rescheduling at a later date.   

 

BOOKINGS

Your booking is not secured unless the full amount is paid. We require a 50% deposit (non-refundable) to secure the date at the time of booking. We also do take a minimum deposit of $100 (refundable) and this covers any damage of WemaLove equipment’s hired and this is done at the time of booking too. This is standard for all the packages of WemaLove. For any cancellation, we require 72 hours so that we are able to communicate with any of our vendors of the changes. WemaLove Luxury Picnics are set for 2 hours. Additional hourly charges are from $80-$400 depending on package booked. We charge $70-$110 for any additional guest each due to the additional items used for setting up, depending on the package booked and this includes children 3 years and older. We do not offer any refunds for any reason of payments once received and processed but it will be credited depending on availability at a later date and time that is best to meet your special day. Once receiving your credits, you have 3 months to book before it expires and there will be no refunds or extension of credit. We also do not reimburse if any member of your party does not attend or if you leave early than the time set. We suggest that you book as early as two weeks as we tend to get very busy especially over the weekends. In addition, we can only accommodate a number of 22 guests as we look to further expand our business in future. We do not rent out tables alone and only offer full package basis. If you decide to change up the setup of the package booked, to use your own items, charges remain unchanged. If you wish to book an all-day Luxury Picnic, please let us know and we will let you know if that will be possible depending on availability. Additional hourly charges will be applied depending on the package booked. An addition few of $100 will be charged for last minute bookings that is 48 Hours before the date of the event.

 

Note: All our prices are firm. Kindly respect that, as this goes to the time spent planning for your special day, our luxurious equipment’s used to make this a memorable and unforgettable day for you and your loved ones. Kindly be aware that we keep updating our prices.

 

SAFETY

WemaLove takes our job seriously and we work hard to use our creativity to deliver the vision that you have and go above and beyond to make this happen. Any client with malicious intent, interference while we are setting up, physical abuse to WemaLove Staff from members of your event, will be reported immediately to the authorities and blacklisted from WemaLove Luxury Picnics and this will also be shared to other businesses. We also do not setup after 6:30PM at Public Parks due to Limited lighting.

 

INJURIES

WemaLove takes caution with all the equipment and products used for decoration to setup so as to make this day exciting and memorable one for you. We mostly use plastic as most parks do not allow glassware due to potential accidents. With this said the client will be responsible for the guests they are hosting for any and all medical bills incurred if taken to the emergency. I (Client) agree to release WemaLove from any liability connected with emergency or medical treatment of any kind. 

 

VENUES

WemaLove will setup events within a radius of 20 Miles from our zip code 20725 and anything outside our perimeter will incur travel charges of $1.89 / Mile. The customer shall be responsible for giving any local or other authorities any necessary notice of their intention to occupy an area within the authority’s locality and shall pay all fees in connection therewith. In the event that the customer’s failure to carry out its obligations under these terms the customer shall be solely responsible and shall indemnify the company WemaLove for any such loss, costs or damages.

 

WEATHER LOOK OUT

It is the responsibility of the Host and not of WemaLove to check the weather prior to making the booking. In case the rain falls on the date of your special day as we cannot control mother nature, a refund will not be processed but a 50% partial credit will be carried forward for your next future booking. However, we do offer indoor setups at your residency or a hall you have rented. For indoor setups we require the designated area to be clear of furniture as we will not be responsible for moving your belongings to make our job easier or of any damage caused while setting up.

  • We do not do setup any of our equipment’s on wet grounds.

 

 

TIME ALLOCATION

Your time allocation is guaranteed once booking is confirmed. Additional charges are applied to the guest for extending the time and this depends on the package booked. An advance notice should be communicated as this does not guarantee the extra hour being available. WemaLove needs to be notified 24 hours before, of the extra hours before your event. Unless otherwise agreed by the guest and the company, all sitting is for a 2-hour period. Extension of time will not occur for late arrivals. The commencement and conclusion time of a booking will remain as per the original agreed booking time. For the safety of our staff, pack up in public spaces or parks can be no later than 6:30 pm. Any late booking after this hour should be done in your backyard residential but there is no guarantee of time availability.  

 

ALCOHOL & NICOTINE CONSUMPTION

 

Most public park or spaces prohibit alcohol consumption, smoking hookah and one may face serious fines. It is your responsibility as a guest to make sure you understand the laws, rules and regulations of the venue or public space you request for a picnic pop-up. WemaLove takes no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties for Items not provided by us.

 

FOOD

We encourage the guests to bring their own food, as we are not responsible for any food, beverage allergies or any issues from foods that were purchased from third party vendors. We also give the option of picking up the food after you have made the payment at locations close to the park (for a $15 fee). We currently only offer beverage tub with ice and complimentary still or sparkling water, this may change with time. Any alcohol beverages request must be consumed at your own residency and not in any public spaces. For any personal requests kindly email or contact a member of our staff for more information. 

 

CLEANING

It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure any remaining food items have been disposed in the provided trash bags. The guest is to clear surfaces, empty everything but not cleaning the items. The plates, glassware and flatware should be left to be packed away by WemaLove at the agreed time. Failure to this will incur additional charges depending on package booked. In addition, if you require an additional hour, fee of $80-$200 will be applied depending on the package booked.

 

ADVERTISING

Consent must be given by WemaLove regarding advertising our photographs or events. Any advertising or promotion of our equipment’s for events that are not for WemaLove must not be used without prior consent. Any information, decoration, images of our creative work from WemaLove that are shared on social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, they must be credited and linked back to WemaLove. For promotion purposes WemaLove has the right to use photos of our creative work, kindly do let us know if you do not wish for this to happen. All publications (print, blog, social media) must credit us or our vendors as the supplier and decorator’s.

 

LOSSES AND DAMAGES

All equipment’s supplied on hire for your event is the property of WemaLove. Any damage, loss or extensive cleaning will result in a full payment of the original cost of the item or items by the Customer. Any loss or damage to any items such as glass wear, plates, vases, props, and other decorations is the responsibility of the host of the event. Fees will apply for replacement at the full cost of purchasing a replacement. These fees are payable within seven days of such loss or damage unless communicated otherwise.

 

The Customer shall pay for all equipment damage or loss however caused during that period. Damage includes but is not limited to;

  • Improper use of equipment
  • Disappearance of equipment
  • Damage to, or loss of, the equipment from any unknown cause
  • Cigarette burns on any fabric, furniture or décor items. Smoking is not permitted on or near the property of WemaLove Events.
  • Red Wine or other staining products spillages or stains on any fabric, furniture or decor items.

With the exception of battery powered candles, no candles, fires or other flammable properties are to be lit during the booking unless by a WemaLove staff.

 

Note: WemaLove should be notified in a written full statement of any theft, disturbance, harassment, and the time the police were notified and arrived at the scene. The customer shall also reimburse the company for any such loss of the equipment at the current replacement cost of the equipment, and must pay that cost to WemaLove on demand. All our Equipment’s must not be rearranged from the designated place to another location unless by a WemaLove staff. The customer warrants that all equipment will not be left unattended for the duration of the booking. WemaLove shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the overloading, exceeding rated capacity, misuse, or abuse of the equipment by the customer and the customer agrees to keep the company indemnified in respect thereof.
